NCB Financial Group Limited (NCBFG) Apologises for Discrepancy in Notice of AGM Mail-out

18/01/2024 00:00:00   |

NCB Financial Group Limited (NCBFG) has discovered a discrepancy in the shareholder notification mail-out exercise for the Notice of Annual General Meeting (AGM), specifically related to a mismatch in the name(s) and addresses on the label of envelopes sent to shareholders.

The Jamaica Central Securities Depository Limited (JCSD – our Registrar) has advised that an error occurred in the processing of the shareholders’ mailing list, leading to some labels containing inaccuracies. Consequently, the labels may include incorrect names, including for jointly held shares. The issue only affected the mailing list, so shareholder data and accounts have not been affected. The error is confined to the label, as the contents are the same for all recipients and do not include personal information. Shareholders may therefore safely open the mail received from NCBFG, where they will find a brief letter to shareholders, the Notice of AGM and proxy form. The notice and proxy form are also available on our website:

Immediate action has been taken to rectify this situation, and JCSD is also communicating with shareholders.

We deeply regret any inconvenience this may have caused and would like to extend our sincere apologies for this unfortunate discrepancy.

We appreciate your continued trust in us and thank you for your understanding.
